Consider youself as as the top official in Sri Lanka who could make changes and introduce new systems with regard to Information Technolgy in Sri Lanka.

Write a report explaining your ideas and thoughts on what improvements and changes that you would like to bring into Sri Lanka with regard to Information Technology.

The report also should contain an Executive summary (Not more than 2 pages).
Attach the Executive summary after the front Cover page of the report.

Please do indicate your Index Number in the Cover Page.

Assignment was informed in the Lecture held on 28th March 2011.
Deadline: 25th April 2011.

IT Infrastructure - Assignment 1

"One of the coffee shop owners in Colombo city wants to provide Internet facilities to his customers who come to have snacks and drinks in his restaurant. He assumes maximum 10 members would use the Internet at any given time in his restaurant.

He wants to know what IT Infrastructure would be required to have this new service to his customers. Also he likes to know the cost of that IT-Infrastructure if this new service to be started within coming two months."

Please prepare an "Executive Summary Report" (1 page report; anyway not more than 2 pages) giving information about the required IT-Infrastructure and the costs.
