Presentation Schedule

The presentation schedule is published now.

All groups have to prepare themselves in presenting this based on your findings. Time slots have been mentioned there. Make sure you will be their at least before 20min before your slot. The team leader must hand over the presentation order of members. That is absolutely a must.
No other dates can be scheduled as the university needs the final results as soon as possible.

Verify whether all your members are there.

Team leaders must make sure to come with relevant presentation (such as .ppt or any other applicable format). The projector will be provided. Since the presentation will be run on a common PC, team leaders must make sure the diskettes or pen drives are free from viruses.

Presentation Dates are confirmed

The presentation dates are fixed now. Make sure to submit and publish the reports as mentioned in the previous post. The presentations will be held on 29th and 30th of August 2009. I will schedule the presentation times for each team based on their submitted and published reports.
The venue will be notified on respective dates.

Group Assignment – System Study - DEADLINE

The time line for the system study as follows

  • The complete report should be submitted on or before 26th of August 2009. (To the science faculty office)
  • The soft copy of the report should be published on the blog before 26th of August 2009.
  • The report must include the team members and their index number clearly. No changes allowed once the report submitted.
  • The presentation date will be published soon.
  • Each member must participate in presenting the project.
  • As mentioned before the presentation should be limited to 20 minutes.

Most probably the presentations will be held on 29th and 30th of August. This will be confirmed soon. Otherwise keep it as a tentative date.

IT-Infrastructure Assignment - 1

An investor wants to start a computer institute to educate 100 students at a time. He is very much concerned about the "Total Cost of Ownership" and the "Quality of Service" of the Institute. Prepare an Executive Summary proposing the relevant IT-Infrastructure for the institute. This Executive Summary should indicate the breakdown of the costs, such as for Computers, Networks, etc. Also indicate what kind of relevant courses that could be conducted.

Submit the assignment on or before 11-May-2009 to the Lecturer.
